We love to keep members and volunteers informed on the best practices that promote financial literacy. Saving money is one strategy we use and the Capital One Shopping tool makes it easier to build better spending practices.
Donate Financially
"Connecting to a community of women Veterans” was ranked in the top three as a personal need for women Veterans (SWAN 2017).
Grace After Fire helps women Veterans meet this need through our weekly peer-to-peer support groups, social events, and annual spring retreats.
Each year, we help connect and empower over 500 women Veterans and their families.
However, there are more than 180,000 women Veterans living in Texas alone.
With your support, we will expand our programs so we can support even more women Veterans and their families, both in Texas and across the US.
$20 covers the costs of services and resources a woman Veteran receives at a single Table Talk peer-to-peer support session.

Below are some ways you can personally support and get involved with Grace After Fire programs:
Table Talk Peer Facilitator
Table Talk peer facilitators are women Veteran volunteers who lead our peer-to-peer support groups.
Childcare Volunteer
Childcare volunteers look after the children of women Veterans who attend our peer-to-peer support groups for 1.5 hours / a support group session.Childcare volunteers must be qualified in administering First Aid and CPR to children and infants.
Event Volunteer
Event volunteers help us plan and organize events (i.e., social events, annual spring retreat, fundraisers, etc).
Admin Volunteer
Admin volunteers process and file documents at any one of our office hours (8 am - 4 pm, Mon - Fri).

Kroger Community Rewards Program
Grace After Fire is a part of the Kroger Community Reward program.
Your selection of our organization through Kroger's program, serves as another alternative to giving back and supporting Grace.
A Digital Account is needed in order to participate in Kroger Community Rewards. If you already have a Digital Account, then please skip to the section named 'Selecting an Organization.'
How to Register a Digital Account
Creating a digital account is as simple as 1,2,3! Simply visit www.kroger.com or download the Kroger mobile application from the appropriate app store for your device and follow these directions.

Select the 'Register' button.

Enter your information.

Select 'Create Account.'
Please make sure that you add your card number or create a virtual card number while registering your Digital Account. This is required for the Community Rewards program so that your transactions apply towards the program.
Selecting an Organization - Grace After Fire
Selecting to support the Grace After Fire organization is as simple updating the Community Rewards selection on your Digital Account.

Sign into your Digital Account (if you haven't already).

Select 'My Account.'

Scroll down to the 'Community Rewards' section of your account page.

Select 'Enroll Now' or 'Edit.'

Enter 'Grace After Fire' as the name of the organization that you wish to support.

Select the 'Grace After Fire' from the list and click on 'Save.'
Your selected organization of Grace After Fire will now display in the Community Rewards section of your account page.
Any transactions moving forward using the card number associated with your digital account will be applied to the program.
It takes approximately 10 days for the Community Rewards total to begin displaying on your receipt.
Viewing your Rewards Details
Wondering how much you've earned towards your selected organization? You may view the total earned during the last quarter by following these instructions.

Sign into your Digital Account (if you haven't already).

Select 'My Account.'

Scroll down to the 'Community Rewards' section.

The amount earned will be listed as 'Last Quarter Kroger Donation.'
Additional Details
You must present your Kroger Plus Card or provide your Alternate ID at the register during the transaction in order for it to count towards the program.
Organization selections must be renewed once a year, during the month of August. Simply follow the instructions detailed in the 'Selecting an Organization' section in order to maintain or update your selected organization.
