Eligibility Requirements

These criteria apply to financial assistance for current members.

Woman Veteran

Must be a woman who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, or National Guard).

Texas Resident

Texas residency is required for financial assistance. Membership itself is open to women veterans nationwide.

Demonstrated Financial Need

Must demonstrate financial hardship requiring support. Documentation of expenses and income is required before review can begin.

Eligible Discharge Status

Must have received an honorable or general discharge. DD-214 or other proof of military service required.

Important Notes

  • • Assistance is provided on a case-by-case basis depending on available funds
  • • Completed paperwork is reviewed first come, first served
  • • We may require documentation such as DD-214, bills, eviction notices, or proof of income
  • • Missing documentation or delayed follow-up will delay the process
